Mini Account

If you are new in the Forex business and don't want to risk a lot of money, then you probably need a so-called Forex mini account. Opening a mini-account at Maps IG is the next logical step after practicing in a demo-environment. With smaller trade sizes (1/10th the size of a standard transaction), high leverage (1:100), and a minimum deposit amount of just $100, a trader can start trading instantly. Standard Account

Our Standard Forex Account is best described as a normal forex trading account, typically because most clients choose to open a Standard Account in order to enjoy its good trading conditions. It was originally designed for traders that have experience trading on the Forex Market or have some level of knowledge about forex trading.

A Standard Forex Account allows clients to trade in any one of the major currencies Maps IG offers (USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, AUD, CAD, and JPY) starting from a minimum deposit of $5000.

Clients trading on the Standard account benefit from trading with the same leverage as on the Mini account ranging from 1:100 to 1:500 and also with Micro lots of 0.05. Additionally, traders enjoy low spreads that are fixed 24 hours a day, starting from only 2 pips on major currency pairs.

Clients with a Standard Account are welcome to call Maps IG Dealing room and place orders over the phone on a volume of 1 lot and more. Our Standard Forex Accounts can also be used with Expert Advisors, hedging and scalping strategies, and Islamic trading conditions.

Premium Account

Our Premium Forex Account is ideal for professional forex traders and for clients who wish to invest a minimum of $150,000. Premium trading accounts allow clients to trade in any one of the major currencies Maps IG offers (USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, AUD, CAD, and JPY).

Traders who are well experienced within the Forex Market generally trade with the Premium Forex Account due to the highly competitive advantage of trading most Major currencies with lower spread. It is an ideal Account type for traders that will trade their positions with larger volumes and who require phone trading for booking orders with the Dealing room.

Premium forex trading conditions at Maps IG offer low spreads, no commissions, leverage up to 1:100, and scalping strategies are allowed.

Premium account traders can also enjoy additional trade analysis, education, and proactive trading advice from our experts.

All Premium accounts can be downgraded to a different account type with no fee.
